  • "I have used this company twice. Once to clean rugs and most recently to shampoo a heavily used sofa. Both experiences were excellent. The company was professional and easy to work with. Easy to schedule and get a quote. At the time of service, the guys were very nice, efficient, and did a great job. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to family and friends."

  • "They came to my home and gave me a free estimate to clean my area rug. There was no pressure at all to do business with them. They were very professional and courteous. I received a follow-up call 2 days later, which at that point scheduled an appointment to have my rug washed. I really appreciated the whole experience with them. and I would recommend them!"

Emergency Carpet Stain Removal

Every home has a broom, dust pan, Windex, paper towels, and rubber gloves in their cleaning drawer. But what happens if you spill a glass of wine on the carpet? Are you going to use any of the above items to clean that up? The three items listed below should be ready to go in the event of a liquid spill on carpet..

What you should immediately do after an unexpected liquid spill in the carpet is soak up the excess liquid with a clean towel. Apply some pressure with your hands to the affected area and soak up as much liquid as possible. Do this immediately after the spill occurs.

Mix 3 or 4 drops of dish soap in a spray bottle and fill with hot water. Mix the solution so it sprays evenly by shaking the bottle and mixing the soap into the water. Next, either spray the affected area or pour some of the mixed solution directly on to the carpet where the spill occurred. Use a household spoon to agitate the mixture into the carpet where the spill happened. Do not scrub so much that the carpet fibres are damaged, do so just enough to make sure the soap is treating the liquid.

After you have applied the soap, soak up the remaining liquid with another clean and dry towel. It is important to absorb as much of the liquid as possible. Do not leave any soap in the carpet as it will just attract more dirt and your carpets will be worse than before.

The above steps are necessary for an emergency carpet clean up. If you are still unhappy with the results then pour a small portion of plain water on to the affected area and soak up with clean dry towel. Leave the towels in place with several heavy books on top for a few hours. If the stain is still there you will likely have to hire a professional carpet cleaning company to treat the stains.
